Thanks to all of your support, we just hit a big milestone - the campaign is now over 50% funded! 

We're also happy to announce that the Steam page for the upcoming release is now up! If you use Steam, you can head over to set it on your Follow list to get all the announcements we launch in the community hub.

We keep getting amazing feedback from you, and based on that we are working on revealing more of the stretch goals soon. We are also setting up a Thunderclap campaign for the campaign and will announce that in the next few days, with a bonus that's sure to excite.

Continuing the Chuusotsu cast updates, here is your friendly living room hologram, Holo. She's voiced by Inuoka Yamato.

You can summon her from the mysterious machine known as "Soul Dispenser."

She thinks and acts just like an air-headed large-busted blonde straight out of an American stereotype.

Despite being an autonomous AI, she is not autonomous in the slightest. Her job is to be the adviser to the three girls.

Collector's Edition Is Here!

With 36% of the goal reached in 3 days, we're happy to announce that we've condensed the feedback we've gotten from you into one stellar, limited Collector's Edition physical package for Chuusotsu - 1st Graduation! 

 The limited edition will include the following:

Chuusotsu - 1st Graduation Collectors' Edition is now available as an add-on for $49 for anyone who has backed the campaign on the $50 tier or above. The shipping is free in $500 and $1000 tiers, and is otherwise estimated at $10-15 which will be collected afterwards via BackerKit like for other physical rewards. 

To pledge on the Collector's Edition, simply click "Manage My Pledge" on the top right corner of the Campaign tab, make sure you are pledging on Synchronization tier or higher, then add a minimum of $49 to your pledge. (To order multiple copies, simply add $49 x amount of copies you want to your pledge. This will save you in the shipping costs if you're ordering together with friends, etc.). You can also choose to change what tier you are backing in this view.

In today's update we introduce the last member of Chuusotsu's main cast, Fujisaki Arara! She is voiced by Ohyama Chiroru.

 A crazy little girl who is embarrassing to be around.

Ever since her childhood, all Arara has been doing is yelling out that she will defeat what she calls "The Ruler of the World," which steadily led her up the stairs to becoming a chuusotsu.

She is the kind of girl who talks to a stuffed animal tied up to her arm. Arara only learns the things that interest her, and often does not know about commonplace things. She's also a picky eater and hence, as you can see, is flat as a board.

Favorite Celebrity: J. Inagawa

First Gameplay Video Now Live!

With over 45% of the goal raised in less than a week, we want to extend huge thanks to all of our backers! After a weekend hard at work, we're excited to share with you a 12-minute gameplay video of Chuusotsu - 1st Graduation! Enjoy this rare footage from Arue's first encounter with the eccentric Arara!

The footage is naturally from an early pre-alpha build of the game and not the final version. Everything you see is subject to change.

The kickstarter page has further been updated with English screenshots.

In today's update, we introduce the little girl next door, Kokoro, voiced by Amakawa Milk.

The neighbor. She is a poker-faced little girl.

Kokoro looks and acts childish, but is always alone. Whether it's because of her doggy hoodie or not, Kokoro's sense of smell is quite sharp.  

She starts her sentences with "completely" and ends them with interrogatives.

Her treasure is a tiny glass ball. She is a canned coffee lover.

Chuusotsu Physical Copy Ideas and More!

Hello dear backers

Since yesterday, we've been hard at work planning the physical edition of Chuusotsu - 1st Graduation. You've given us a lot of good feedback both in the update comments and direct messages, so thank you for that!

We've put the feedback together into one package, so here it is. Let us know if this is something you'd like to see as a limited edition physical version, or if you think we're completely off the rails:

• A keep case (DVD or slimmer BD case)
• Soundtrack, Sound Disc (in the disc holder) + sheet with OST info 
• Custom Chuusotsu USB flash drive card carrying the game
• 3 exclusive Postcards.

We look forward to hearing your thoughts on the physical edition in the comments. Meanwhile, we are also preparing new add-ons based on the feedback!

Next, here is the second character preview, featuring Hachisuka Koiro! She is voiced by Inukai Ao.

One of Arue's roomates, who made her first contact with her in a love hotel street. Wearing a rabbit-printed jacket as her trademark, she was well known as "Beachside White Rabbit" back in her hometown. Having left home and quitting her role as the strongest gang leader, she has become just another chuusotsu.  

Although her being taciturn and great at fighting scares people off, on the inside she is actually a good girl who is pure and airheaded. Koiro is an ally of justice, and takes a firm stance against all sorts of immorality. She is starving practically all the time. You can't fight on an empty stomach.

Favorite Food: Rice (any brand)

Chuusotsu - 1st Day Breakdown

First of all, many thanks to all of our backers! Thanks to you, we have raised over 25% of the campaign goal in less than a day! That gives us a lot of confidence, though we still have a lot of work ahead of us before the goal.

We’ve been asking the backers for feedback on the campaign, and gotten a lot of valuable suggestions. Based on those, we are currently working on getting some gameplay screenshots out of the already translated part of the game, and hope to feature those in an update soon.

Another thing that many people have brought up is the backers’ wish to see a physical copy. It’s an expensive item to manufacture (due to minimum quantities, and so on) and we didn’t want to start with a high goal just to include it, but the feedback has given us much greater impetus to try to make it happen. 

We have some very different ideas for how we might do this (if we can work out the funding for it) that we’re bouncing around, but what kind of physical edition interests you the most? A DVD case with a DVD inside - does your PC even have a DVD drive (mine doesn’t)? Should it have extra goods? What about a code card or custom USB drive instead? Please let us know your wish list in the comments!

Last but not least, many have asked us to give you more information about the characters. That’s why we’ll be updating the page with character introductions, starting with the game’s protagonist, Marisugawa Arue! She is voiced by Takeda Eruru.

Arue’s mental fortitude is also on the weak side, and because of those issues, her academic performance was so poor that she has ended up a chuusotsu (a person with no education beyond middle school). However, although she was a shy, fragile girl back in middle school, Arue has now leveled up into a blunt riposte machine.

She has signed up for the room sharing program with extraordinary enthusiasm for the sake of getting the strongest job of 'Government Employee.' That's why she gets super passionate toward, and aggressively tackles the challenges she faces, whose failure would get her kicked out of the apartment.

Arue’s really crazy about manga. She cannot and will not stop reading it.
